Labor Mobility
Analyzing the impact on sending and receiving countries
The worldwide surge in international migration in recent decades has made understanding the determinants and consequences of these population flows a central part of the debate over social policy in many countries. The IZA program on Labor Mobility, which has been one of the Institute's core interests since its founding, encourages the analysis of the economic, political, cultural, and social impacts of international migration on both sending and receiving countries.
